I was really only going to be looking for one comic at the con ... Superman #260 from 1973.

I remember seeing this one on the spinner rack at the old Hinky Dinky store on 28th and Broadway. I passed it over for something else. I went back to get it on my next visit and it was gone. The main story has never been reprinted.
I looked on Amazon to see if I should just order a copy of this comic. With shipping, I could get one for about $15. I didn't want to spend quite that much but that was my backup plan.
We had a couple of errands to run and then we headed for the Con. The adventure continues below...
When we arrived at the con, the first table we stopped at was presented by a shop from Minnesota. Anyhow, I had to wait for some guys who had gotten there before me. I got there and I found #260 right away for $10. It looked like it was in good shape, so I snatched it up. They also had Superman #265 for $5.

That's another one that I remembered from my youth. Eh, what the heck? ... I got it too. The shop owner said "$7.50."
"What?" I asked.
"Yeah, they're all half off the sticker price."
Okay then, I went back to look for more. I found DC's World's Greatest Superheroes #7 listed for $24 which would make it $12. I'd always been curious about this one so I got it.

Total for this vendor $19.50!
I looked at some comics from other vendors and I looked through all the toys and such. I came upon a set of longboxes all in a row marked $1 each. It was from my local comic store, Krypton Comics. I'd been to their sidewalk sales and such so I didn't expect to pick up anything.
Big mistake.
I found some stuff and then I thought I'd pad it out to $20 worth. Once I did that, my wife pointed to a sign that said 30 comics for $20 ... so, I had to find ten more comics. Here's what I got.
I came across a large swath of the early issues of The Second Life of Doctor Mirage. I ended up getting these issues.

Then, I saw a few things that I'd never seen in the wild, before. In no particular order...
Cap'n Quick & a Foozle #2

I'm a big Marshall Rogers fan. I'd been hoping to find some of these.
Somerset Holmes #'s 1 and 3

Skate Man #1 (Neal Adams) "Oh, no! It's Skate Man!"

Captain Paragon
I got issues #1 and #2 of this series from AC comics.

Zot #6

Ragman - Cry for the Dead #1

Shatter #1

There was a lot of fanfare when Shatter was produced as it was all supposed to have been done on a computer before that was really a thing. I haven't read it yet, but reviews were never very kind to it. I'm very curious to see what this pioneering book really looked like.
Miscellany
In addition to the above, I picked up two issues of the Adam Strange series by Richard Bruning and the Kubert brothers. I also got a few issues of the Legion of Superheroes from the Levitz/Larocque era ... #'s 20, 24, and 25.
